Bonaire is widely recognized among the world’s best dive destinations. One of the few places where divers have the freedom to dive when they want to and where they want to. The possibility to have a vacation your way on your own schedule! Laetitia and Matthieu have been dive instructors around the world as well as on Bonaire prior to starting Blachi Koko Apartments. With their experience of both the island and the dive sites, they can assist you with your diving or snorkeling inquiries. Help you plan out your dive vacation and make recommendations.
Blachi Koko is also conveniently located walking distance to several dive shops and right next to a private little beach. By way of a little path you can benefit from a nice little beach with easy entry into the Caribbean Sea, to snorkel or dive. Even better, the apartments are immediately adjacent to Carib Inn.
Carib Inn has a long-standing reputation of excellence, safety and quality programs for divers of every level. Bruce Bowker has owned and managed the Carib Inn since its inauguration in 1980. He was the first dive instructor working full time on Bonaire starting in 1973 at Capt Don’s Aquaventure. Unfortunately in 2020 Bruce passed away but his relatives make sure to provide the guests of Carib Inn with the same amount of love and attention he always used to do.

The geographical shape of the island creates natural protection on the west side against the constant eastern trade winds. This together with its shallow coral reefs make it a one of a kind dive destination – a true diver’s paradise – where “unlimited” shore diving is possible. Nevertheless, the leeward side does not even cover half of the shoreline, which offers lots of sites to be yet discovered on the east side of the island, where the corals are untouched and marine life is abundant. Bonaire East Coast Diving is a specialized dive operation on the famous east side of Bonaire. Bonaire East Coast Diving is the proud owner of the only boat on Bonaire that is especially designed for the east coast of the island. Our Zodiac Hurricane 920 is a custom build military RIB, powered by two 250hp Yamaha outboard engines, equipped with all the necessary safety gear. This makes it possible to offer an exciting and new experience for all levels of divers. A removable dive door on the side of the boat makes it possible to hang a ladder in the water so you can easily get back into the RIB, even in rough seas. Easy entry, easy exit, and above all very relaxed!
